Speaking to a cleansed crowd, crusade concludes.

It has taken a while to pull together the energy and images for the crusade concluding post, but now I am ready.

I will also make other posts now that are not sent via email, so please visit the site so you can read more about the crusade’s aftermath, boat trip, etc.

Before I get into the details of the final night, let me attempt to explain the context of what we were dealing with here. The fishing villages around the crusade ground, as well as the other villages from which people came by 90 rented vehicles, are populated with people who for centuries have been isolated, intimidated and given over to desperation. The spiritual climate of the crusade was like hard ground compared to the fertile yet religio-skeptical soil of most evangelical meetings you might attend. It took very passionate, faith-filled prayer and worship to break through the topsoil. Each night I felt it softening. We had rotating teams of prayer warriors behind the stage. I could hear them calling out to God whenever there was a lull in the PA.

So on the final night, I felt compelled to say something that could relate to the gradual softening of their hearts and give them something they could use over and over going forward. The message was based on the parable of the sower. My feeling was that if their hearts could receive and understand the Word of God, value the Word of God beyond their experience that day, then I could retire from the meetings with a clear conscious that I followed God’s leading and lasting fruit would emerge. Marcus (my translator) and I felt very connected to the message as it was going out, and I knew that the soil of their hearts had been prepared. I ended it with leading the attentive audience through a symbolic action of holding a seed in thier fingers, acknowledging it as the Word of God, then placing it in their hearts. This was essentially the altar call and we had nearly 90% participation. We are still praying that these precious people will remember this moment and seek God’s promises each and every day. Then we personally prayed and laid hands on nearly 1000 people. I could not count it, but everyone was busy helping me pray. Many were personally lead to Christ.

The crowd was over 5000 strong on this final night… 2000 more than any other meeting here in anyone’s memory! We owe it to the unprecedented level of cooperation between the 20+ local churches who participated with us. I especially owe my personal thanks for this to CGI’s pastors’ Joshua, Joel and Aruldas who assurred these local leaders that their efforts in working together would bear fruit!
More on the growing teamwork we are seeing in future posts.

Here are all the pics I have now. They represent a variety of 2nd and 3rd night crusade shots as well as Sat and Sun daytime activities. More posts may explain these. :-) I’ll get more digicam cards copied so more pics can join these below.

    • Sound System and Musical Instruments for Prayer Ministry.

    • Funds for Pastors, our all Pastors working with us are Full Time Pastors as Volunteers.
    • Religious Literature, Encyclopedias, Study Material in the shape of CDs, As Audio Video Tapes and Books.

    Financial Support
Ministering adequately requires materials, facilities, and workers. Your financial partnership will enable us to reach out effectively to the Navajo and Hopi people.

    Materialistic Support
you can also help us through providing us the equipments and necessities which are required for our future projects. (E.g. computers, vehicles and other things you think are helpful for us).

    Future Plans
    • Church Building
    • Computer Training Center
    • Tuition Center
    • Old Home
    • Religious Library
    Church Building
as we told that we do not have a Church building in which we can do prayer. So our primary objective in future planning is to construct our Main Church (GLOBAL OUTREACH MINISTRIES CHURCH) in KHANEWAL, so that instead of doing prayers in the small homes of our members which are not enough roomed, we shall do it in a proper and selected place. Though it is not easy task to construct a good Church building for us but it is not impossible. Because God is always with us and He will help us for this noble cause through His people.
    Computer Training Center
We are already running a one Computer Training Center in our area but the place where we are running it is a rented place, so it costing us a bit higher day by day. Because we have to bear so many other expenses also like Salaries of teachers, Computer Maintain-ness Expenses, Stationary, Electricity bills, Water bills etc. We are running it on self basis and we are not funded by anyone. So to continue this training center we wish to construct our own training center because by doing this we will not have to pay rent of place which costing us very much and there will be a very large decrease in our expenses which can be done only by the favor and participation of the people like you. Know at a time we have only 6 computers and one Computer Training Center in our own area but the number of learning students is large. We want to increase the quantity of computers and the number of our Training Centers in those areas where we are unable to provide the facility of Computer Training Center. So we need computers even used computers but in good working condition to fulfill our need.
    Tuition Center
Along with the Spiritual studies, studies are also important now-a-days. Because we have to walk with the modern age also. So as a human being the education is also important for us. I always become sad to tell that the children of our Christian people firstly don’t get education because their parents can not afford it but if anyone is getting education and he or she is interested, due to complications in several subjects they can’t do well because they need tuitions at several stages but they even can’t think about tuitions due to afford-ness. We are already helping the students who are studying regarding to their uniforms and school fees. But we want to do more great for them by giving the facilities of free tuitions to them. We want to construct a Tuition Center for those entire Christian students who deserve and can not afford tuitions. This step will improve the level of education in our Christian community and the living standard of our community will also be improved which is our main focus. So we need your help in doing all of this.
    Old People’s Home
We want to construct a Old Home as the Old People Home Society for those parents who are aged now and are not cared, especially for the Best take care of the Old persons in the last era of their lives, when they are neglected by their own love one’s and left alone when they deserve to have much more care and attention. We want to provide home, food, clothing, shelter, protection and security and other facilities and amenities including medical treatments for mentally and physically damaged old people of either sex. For all of this we need your help.
    Religious Library
We want to construct a religious library through which we can provide knowledge of Christianity to our people as well as to Non-Christians also. Actually we gathered a number of books relating to our religion which provides a lot of knowledge and we want that all people should get award of them but we do not have a proper place where we can put them in an order so that anyone can easily reach them. We have not all but many additions of Bible and many other books on Christianity. After observing that many people are interest and are in a search of Christianity books we are taking this step.
    Note:
So if you are interested and agree with all these plans you simply contact us and then we will provide you detailed information relating to the whole expense incurred on them. So please open your hearts for the works of God and donate as much as you can, you will see that God will give you a fruit of what you do and He will open the gates of His blessings for you. We will assure you that the amount donated by you will be spend on the told projects.
    God Bless You.
